AIM står for Alcohol in moderation (alkohol med måde). Bladet udgives af en engelsk redaktør, Peter Duff, med støtte fra bl.a. Robert Mondavi, manden bag det kendte vinhus i Californien. Bladets linje tegnes af en redaktionsgruppe, Editorial Advisory Board, som jeg har været medlem af fra bladets start i maj 1992. AIM's målsætning er:
