Born August 18, 1945. Married to designer Dora Skovenborg since 1968.
We have two children:

Esben, M.Sc. in Music Technology, University of York 1999, and M.Sc. in computer science, University of Copenhagen, combines the science of numbers with the art of music. Currently employed as an industrial PhD fellow at TC Electronic.

Anne Katrine has completed a course in ethnography, University of Aarhus, and now she is studying the difficult language of Chinese.

I graduated in medicine at the University of Aarhus in 1971 and having completed hospital training I started as a family physician in Egaa, a suburb of Aarhus, Denmark.

A great wine interest is pursued with enthusiasm supplied with literature studies of the medical effects of a moderate alcohol consumption. My mania for collecting is aimed at exlibris: medical bookplates and bookplates with wine and chess motifs.
